Lisk Support: Tools and Challenges to Increase Community Participation
Lisk Support is a platform that provides tools and documents related to Lisk, helping the community to get informed about Lisk ecosystem and to choose the delegates thanks to easy-to-use voting tools.
The project was founded by Joo5ty, a Lisk delegate, and now the team consists of 8 people, mainly Web developers and Content creators.
The platform launched several community iniatives, here there is a list of the most important ones:
- Lisk Forum: it was launched on January 30th and it aims at being an alternative to the Lisk subreddit. The main features are: Thread categories, Support for images/Youtube/Polls, Easy search features, User activity statistics/notifications/badges/avatars and Personal Messaging. Since the release, the Forum reached 1.1k users, 1.7k likes and 2.8k posts.
- Lisk Voting Tools:
- Lisk Pending and Lisk Total Payouts, to calculate pending payouts from all known Lisk individual and group pools;
- Delegate Rank Tracker;
- Latest Lisk News: the main section of this initiative is the Lisk Weekly News Roundup, written by E1337, that collects the best Lisk news of the week.
- Lisk Knowledge Base: it provides information about what is Lisk, where is it possible to buy Lisk and how the voting system works.
- Community Challenges: after hosted a $500 Art Challenge, the platform launched few days ago a $1600 Photo Challenge, thanks to the sponsorship of the delegate pool GDT. The latest one is the $100 Estimation Challenge, with the prize given to the person that replies the closest answer to how many wallets have between 10 LSK and 100.000 LSK in holdings.
