Lightcurve announces to step away from its delegate position
Lightcurve, the for-profit enterprise responsible for all development and marketing of the non-profit Lisk Foundation, announces in a blog post that they currently has no plans to become a forging delegate in the near future.
The decision comes after have evaluated the current situation: the company is getting larger and increasing the members of the team (over 40 employees), so in this situation the reward received from forging is no longer a suitable incentive program to scale.
In order to support its growth, Lightcurve worked to build a more efficient employee benefit structure, for example creating a professional human resources department.
The high level of attention and the constant maintenance required to run a node (Lightcurve delegate) is no more feasibile for the team, so with the aim of focusing exclusively on Lisk network and technology Lightcurve announces to step away from its delegate position. This decision also makes space for more Lisk community members to participate in the network.
These are the next steps planned by the team:
1. Distribute the Lightcurve delegate funds.
2. Kindly ask that everyone reconsider their vote.
3. Shut down the Lightcurve node.
