A List of 6 Tools to Learn More About the Lisk Ecosystem
This week has been very exciting for Lisk! Our most recent articles were about the release of Commander 1.0 and the migration to Mainnet (Lisk Core 1.0), expected to happen at the end of August, two important milestones for the project. While we wait for further information and the migration itself to happen, we decided to provide a list of useful tools for both newcomers and old users to orientate in the Lisk ecosystem.
The tools range from informative websites to in-depth description about upcoming ICO on the platform or how to vote delegates in the DPoS system. They are very useful tools for a full immersion in Lisk!
The first tool on the list is Liskecosystem.io, a website that aggregates many functionalities and listings related to Lisk.
While its home page features a list of finished or upcoming ICOs, the menu allows users to access to a wider range of information, such as tools that can be downloaded (charts for delegates, csv exporters with transactions, lisk.support api etc.) and links to Lisk Magazine and Lisk Academy.
A more specific tool, the Lisk Academy is a project carried out with pride by the Lisk Foundation. As they have always expressed their credo of spreading knowledge, they decided to set up this educational platform about blockchain technology. The whole Academy is free, with the aim of helping users to understand and then access the power of blockchain. The different modules range from introductory to detailed information regarding protocols and different types of blockchain.
Lisk support is the place to go for everything regarding Lisk. It includes a wide array of tools, such as total delegates payout, a rich list and more information about voting for delegates. They also have a collection of media, collecting all the most informative videos about Lisk.
This website allows users to learn how to earn more Lisk by voting for the delegates with biggest sharing rewards. It provides an in-depth understanding of the DPoS and the different rewards users can get by voting for delegates. It answers questions such as “how much can I earn Lisk by voting?” and “how many delegates are forging Lisk?”. We definitely recommend this website for everyone trying to get a deeper understanding of the DPoS model and the delegates model used by Lisk.
This tool is particularly useful for those that are planning to stake their Lisk in order to get rewards.
It calculates the expected return for Lisk staked and allows you to get an idea of how much rewards you will get for a selected period of time.
This resource offers all range of information regarding the delegates. It is perfect for all those wishing to know more about the % shared, the pools and the personal website of each delegate.
These are only few tools that we deemed worth mentioning.
They provide you with the necessary information to answer all of your questions and to kickstart your Lisk experience by fully understanding the algorithm regulating the protocol and why it has been developed in this way. They will provide a full understanding of the delegates model and why it works the way it does.
We do not expect these tools to fully cover all the functionalities of the platform or to be a self-standing container of all knowledge regarding Lisk, but we consider them a fundamental stepping stone to get deeper knowledge while already understanding the fundamentals of the system.
Lisk Magazine is a project supported by Lisk Italian Group.
