Tonyt908 joins GDT Pool and Joel Increases his Payout as Individual Delegate

On January 7th, GDT announced that the group added TonyT908 as their new member. This is the biggest change in GDT since Hirish was selected by the group in mid 2018.

Tony, winner of the “best techical content creator” Lisk Community Award, Lisk Ambassador since September 2018 and Reddit Moderator since December 2017, is a well-known person in the Lisk ecosystem. He has been very active in building tools and helping others via various Lisk channels.

He lives in the United states, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and another Master’s Degree in Exercise Science. He was a System Analyst for a Software for a software consulting company. Most of the projects he works on are Web Applications that incorporate C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
He was introduced into crypto by a friend from work in December 2016 and at the beginning he was focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, but then came across Lisk and was very drawn to the whole JavaScript-based side chain concept.

Tony launched a lot of projects linked with Lisk, here a brief recap:

Lisk Pending, to calculate pending payouts from all known Lisk individual and group pools;
Lisk Total Payouts, to calculate total payouts from all known Lisk individual and group pool;
Lisk Chainalysis, to provide in-depth analysis of what happens with all the transactions on the Lisk blockchain;
Lisk RichList, to show how the LSK tokens are distributed amongst all the Lisk wallets;
Data Field Search, to search through all of the transactions with the newly introduced data field;
Lisk Excel, to gather all Lisk transactions based on user criteria, and then saves them in an Excel file

Since GDT has always promised to keep the total delegate count at 33, voting for Joel is no longer needed for GDTpool.
It means that Tony is replacing Joel and, starting February 1st, anyone not voting for Tonyt098 will no longer be eligible for Gold level rewards from GDTpool.

Due to this event, Joel is now an individual delegate and changes his personal pool distribution:

1. Increase of sharing percentage to 50%.
2. Distributions made on Saturday’s (weekly).
3. Rewards will accumulate with a minimum of 0.5 LSK to receive reward.

Besides his forged LSK token sharing Joel is “working to enhace the pool distribution” and he aims to “lead the way concerning how taxation towards cryptocurrency mining/forging should be handled”.

Updates about other delegates

In the last period, 2 other GDT delegates changed their sharing percentage: kushed is now sharing 20% to voters, while bioly is sharing 27%. LiberSpirita, Sherwood member that shared 60%, increased his payout to 100%.
