Sidechain Solutions Introduces Lisk Tic-Tac-Toe
This weekend sees the Sidechain Solutions team debut a demo build for Lisk Tic-Tac-Toe. We first got word about the launch on Lisk Discord with promotion from Stellardynamic, Korben3, and Lemii. As you may have guessed, it is a Lisk-inspired take on the classic strategy game of Xs an Os. The game, therefore, demonstrates a lot of the cool functionalities of the Lisk Elements Library with the assistance of JQuery and JQuery QRcode.
The simple interface lets players connect to the Lisk network, generate new paraphrased and addresses, retrieve transactions from a public API of nodes, perform actions based on Lisk message and data fields, and create QR codes that can be scanned by Lisk Mobile. When you click on the button labeled “NEW GAME”, an address is generated. It is this address you will share with a friend, so that the game begins when he enters it after clicking the “JOIN GAME” button.
You make a move by sending a transaction to the game address either using Lisk Hub or Lisk Mobile. All that is required to send this transaction is for players to fill in the message field with the corresponding position for their move on the board. This message is case insensitive. It could be A2 or b3. The game then continues with the second player making their move. You can play more than one game at a time by simply opening new browser tabs, starting new games and sharing their addresses.
On the “developers” channel, Stellardynamic encouraged community members to head on over to Github and experiment with the code and “make more advanced use”. There is already a bounty program in place for using a single address to store all scores and improving the rules.
Stellardynamic, Korben3, and Lemii are part of a team of six developers and designers who are committed to delivering custom solutions for the Lisk Ecosystem, providing consultation services for sidechain developers, managing hackathons and meetups, and providing reusable demos and learning materials for general use.
In addition, they announced the launch of LiskAPI.io,
