Crypto Embassy Launches New Website
France-based delegate Crypto Embassy has just rolled out a new website to support its long-standing commitment to the blockchain/cryptocurrency space.
The project is managed by two brothers: Benjamin Favre and Jordan Favre. They are both based in France. Both of them are engineers and they have a ton of experience in web development, crypto, blockchain. They have been in open source web development for over 10 years now, and are currently working with their own team of full-stack developers on the development of tools for the Lisk ecosystem.
The website is chock-full of end-to-end blockchain educational courses that are designed to nurture interest from newcomers. In their own words, “the crypto embassy academy is a comprehensive and unbiased educational platform on blockchain technology”. That’s everything from trading to mining, to tools.
The courses currently available discuss blockchain basics, how blockchain works, cryptocurrency, and security. As a result, you can learn more about topics like proof of work, proof of stake, delegated proof of stake, consensus protocols, hashing, and more.
These courses, as Crypto Embassy puts it, “have been mainly written by LiskHQ and have been slightly modified and translated by Crypto Embassy”. The homepage features a crypto listing and a crypto store right next to the educational courses. The store, which is not up yet as of writing, will enable customers to shop in cryptocurrency for custom merch, graphic t-shirts, hoodies, backpacks, and more. However, the crypto listing features tools like CoinMarketCal, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, TradingView, and more.
Crypto Embassy was named the first Lisk Ambassador to represent France by Lisk HQ in 2018. They are currently the only French ambassadors. Crypto Embassy is sponsored by Lisk, Byzantine, WD29, Business France, Brest Metropole & Ville, and Region Bretagne. The project is only going to get bigger due to demand. Therefore, they are extending an open invitation to sponsors who wish to support the project.
The team went to Paris to represent LiskHQ at the Paris Blockchain Week Summit and hosted some conferences, in collaboration with universities and local authorities.
Their plan as a forging delegates includes many activities: academic sidechain, hosting events, simplify the access to crypto in France/Europe, create a startup incubator and set up a community fund.
