Lisk Foundation’s Financial Update (January)
According to the report, the Foundation holds € 4.5 million and CHF 2.1 million. In addition, there are 2,776 BTC, 62,000 GBYTE and 8.9 million LSK. This means that the total assets held correspond to about $ 50 million.
In January the Lisk Foundation received € 860,000+ from the Lightcurve GmbH due to old open receivables and approximately € 950,000 will be transferred back to the Lisk Foundation this February for the same reason. In addition, the Foundation invested CHF 1 million into a fund managed by one of the banks the Lisk Foundation has a bank account at.
In relation to the monthly expenses, the picture below summarizes the costs linked with each department:
Moosty announces a new Lisk-based DEX
Mercator Network is a decentralized exchange that allows Atomic Swap between a Lisk SDK-based blockchain application and Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other Lisk SDK based blockchain. It will be possible to send tokens to a hash time locked contract, using the custom transaction HTLC-transaction
, that functions as a interoperability option to transfer tokens between different blockchain applications. The team plans to release it in about 3 months.

LQuiz, a game to reward correct answers
Japanese Lisk community member ys_mdmg is developing LQuiz, a PoC blockchain application built with the Lisk SDK, that allows users to receive a token-based reward when they correctly answer to listed questions.

Delegates’ overview and #HeroesNotZeros
According to LiskMonitor, this week Elite gained globally 300 million LSK and GDT +220 million LSK. This is due to the fact that Binance, a cold wallet with 5.3 million LSK, voted for the top 101 (maybe to enable staking service on Binance?) . Gym and liskpoland.pl reached a forging position.
At individual level, the biggest individual losses came up for iii.element.iii [-3.1M], adrianhunter [-2.7M], joo5ty [-3.3M], lwyrup [-3.1M], crodam [-2.2M], zy1349 [-3.2M], philhelmuth [-2.8M], liberspirita [-2.4M] and carolina [-2M].
The most voted delegates are: all the top 101,jong [+3.5M], minions [+3.4M], and liskapan [+3.5M].
It is still possible to receive 2 free LSK, exploiting the 1 LSK refund by GDT here and the 1LSK refund by minions (if you vote the “Heroes” list, no action required).
