LiskHQ hosted an AMA about the new ID system Iker Alustiza, Research Scientist at LiskHQ, posted an article to provide an overview of the main improvements related to the new ID system, that is part of the Network Longevity phase. He covered tech aspects of LIP 18, 19 and 20, that are recpectively related to the new address system, the new ID format for transactions and the new ID system for blocks. The new address system allows error-detection, improves the collision-resistance and preimage-resistance (the fact that today users have to perform at least one transaction to store the public key in the blockchain and increase account’s security). We can expect that he will release a recap of the AMA session.

Carbonara releases Lisk Observer, a new blockchain explorer Lisk Observer is defined as an inter-lisk realtime blockchain explorer and it allows to monitor transactions, accounts and blocks on Lisk blockchain and its sidechains. The project was planned to be release during the deployment of Lisk V5, but delegate Carbonara sped up the development. The platform is characterized by a very efficient system: the GraphQL server on the backend enables the connected clients to receive the data in realtime and reduces bottlenecks. Due to that fact, the exchange went into liquidation and GNY submitted a creditor claim form to the liquidators. Even if its creditor claim was accepted, liquidators didn’t provide an adeguate response; therefore GNY “issued a notice to the liquidators under sections 285 and 286 of the Companies Act 1993 alleging that they have failed to comply with one or more of their duties“.
