Vote for your favorite delegates
The Lisk Mainnet migration transition period is over!
The voting system has been reset and LSK holders must select again a new batch of preferred delegates.
Delegates guarantee the security of the Lisk Mainnet and it’s crucial that every token holder casts the votes, making the network more resilient.
Max Kordek, CEO and Co-Founder at LiskHQ, recorded a video to present the steps required to vote: How to Vote in Lisk Desktop v2.0.0

Pay attention to scammers! There is a large increase of scammers contacting Lisk community members to ask for your passphrase. Never share such info!

Interesting metrics are now reported on LiskScan: we can measure the TVL (“Total Value Locked”), widely used in the DeFi space, and track stats related to voting weight.
TVL: 12.6m LSK ($49m)
Total selfvotes: 2.2m LSK ($8.5m)
Total delegates: 1879
Current max APR: 45%
(calculated as annualized forging rate, 30k LSK, divided by the total votes of the delegate in position 101th)
Mainnet Afterparty – what’s next
Hardware wallet full support should be released with Lisk Desktop v2.2.0, while Lisk Mobile will be updated after.
There are still no exchanges that opened deposit/withdrawals, with Binance announcing the support on Oct 1st.
On the development side, LiskHQ introduced a new blog post covering the details of the Lisk interoperability solution.
This time, researchers explained the roles of CCUs, cross-chain update transactions, that allow cross-chain messages (CCMs) to be transmitted from the sending chain to the receiving chain in a secure and trustless manner.
Detailed description of the tech components is available in the Lisk Research forum.
Maxime Gagnebin, Research Scientist, and Jan Hackfeld, Head of Research, will host an AMA live on YouTube today at 3pm CEST. Live stream here.
