This is an unexpected downgrade for Lisk, as in the last months the team worked hard to bring Core 1.0.0 to the mainnet.
In the July development update Lisk Foundation confirmed that everything is ready for the migration and they are in contact with exchanges that will need to properly migrate to Lisk Core 1.0.0.
With the new release candidate (1.0.0-rc.2) some issues have been solved (#2249, #2252, #2243) and the team is already working on Lisk Core 1.2.0.
In addition, Lisk’s developers made the documentation as comprehensive and user-friendly as possible. The most important improvements are the following:
- The structure of the main documentation pages for each product (Lisk Core, Lisk Elements, Lisk Commander, Lisk Hub and Lisk Explorer) has been changed and now a Tables of Contents resumes all of the sections and subsections related to a particular product.
- The Lisk Core Migration page has been improved with a more user-friendly flow.
- The Lisk Core Configuration page now contains new instructions regarding forging .
? While #Lisk Core 1.0 is being developed on Testnet, we have updated all of our exchanges about the migration to Mainnet to ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders.
