Lisk Week in Review – 44
In the past week LiskHQ released also a new tool called Lisk Service, accessible and powerful API calls that allow developers to provide their user interfaces with enriched blockchain data, such as delegate or network statistics. Lisk Builders Program has two new grantees Community members Kasra and AlinB are the winners of the Builders program for August. The former is developing an algorithmic stablecoin that is also backed by a decentralized collateral reserve, while the latter is working on “Liskvoice”, an IPFS-based project that aims to provide a secure private messenger, storing safely the data of the conversations. Both received a grant worth of CHF 2,500 in LSK tokens. Apply to Lisk Builders program. Lisk halving in 6 days! The halving is still expected to happen on September 27th, so just 6 days away! This is the last reduction, from 2 to 1 LSK per block. Remember that Korben3 launched a giveaway of 175 LSK: retweet, comment, follow @LiskHQ and @korben32 to win prizes. Delegates’ overview According to LiskMonitor, in the past week there was a moderate change of votes in delegates’ landscape: GDT gained 3 million LSK and individuals gained 3.6M votes. At individual level, many forging delegates received about 70-100k votes and the most voted ones are: sgdias [+109k], hagie [+108k], splatters [+108k], samuray [+113k], tonyt908 [+123k], moosty [+108k]. The biggest individual losses came up for 4miners.net [-50k] and delegates in standby positions. Voting for Hosts, it is possible to receive 1 free LSK by minions (no action required, just vote the list). With the last feature epic closed, all #Lisk SDK 5.0.0 release goals were successfully implemented.
Now Q&A has started and development moves into alpha testing to fix bugs, add missing test cases, and refactor the code base. Get more information on:https://t.co/QIK7FFAKtC https://t.co/WxHzGBQPtS — Lisk (@LiskHQ) September 21, 2020
