Only 32 open issues to finish SDK 5.0.0
Max Kordek, Ceo at Lightcurve, announced the closing of the 10th epic (
Simplify HTTP API module and separate from framework) of
Lisk SDK 5.0.0. This means that only 32 issues out of 240 are still open, raising the rate of developed code to 87% of the total.
According to some community members the SDK could be launched in early 2021, as LiskHQ has to do an external audit and some tests, then release a new Lisk Core version for betanet, then move to testnet and finally mainnet. No official dates or roadmap are available.
New activities by LiskHQ-lead International Working Group
INATBA, The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications, launched the first blockchain-privacy
survey run by the Privacy Working Group.
The Association brings together startups and SMEs, policymakers, international organizations and regulators to support the growth of blockchain applications across multiple sectors. There are 100+ members, including crypto firms like Ledger, Marker, Lisk Foundation, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Algorand, Cardano.
The Privacy Working Group is lead by
Marcin Zarakowski, Legal Counsel at Lisk Foundation, that tracks trends in privacy regulations related to blockchain and advices regulators about blockchain adoption.
Smart Inventory, Lisk-based PoC to track items
Lemii, featured in the
Week 30 as winner of Lisk Builders program, published a
blog post about his project “Smart Inventory”.
The delegate developed a decentralized application to track the history of an item using Lisk blockchain to store data, focusing on art, watches, luxury goods and vintage synthesizers.
Each item on the network is an account with a custom asset object: ‘
RegisterItemTransaction‘ allows to add the custom properties of the asset object to the account, that is now an ‘
ItemAccount‘.
Lemii developed also an interface to register, transfer and view items.
